About
Tara Jones is the founder of Luxura Travel Design, a New Orleans-based luxury travel agency specializing in thoughtfully designed vacations for families, couples, and travelers who want an elevated, personalized travel experience.
With more than a decade of experience in the travel industry, Tara specializes in custom European vacations, Alaska cruises and land journeys, Caribbean and Mexico all-inclusive resorts, Disney and Universal vacations, and ocean and river cruising.
Her approach begins with understanding how her clients actually want to travel, not simply where they want to go. From choosing the right resort or cruise line to designing a multi-city European itinerary, Tara combines firsthand destination knowledge, professional relationships, and meticulous planning to create vacations that feel effortless from beginning to end.
Tara regularly travels to experience destinations, resorts, cruise ships, and theme parks firsthand so she can provide recommendations based on more than a brochure or online review. Her goal is simple: match each client with the travel experience that is truly right for them.

I've booked a number of Disney cruises with Tara and she is the best! She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Tara is detail oriented and wants to make sure that I enjoy my vacation! She makes sure that my excursions are fun and that I don't have to sweat the details. I just signed up for a Norwegian cruise with Tara and, once again, she is making sure that I am aware of my vacation opportunities- cabanas, excursions, etc. I highly recommend using Tara to book a vacation!
